Description

The Cheyenne Belt is a UL-certified NFPA 1983:2022 Fire Resistance (FR) Escape/Ladder Belt. It is easy to use and makes an outstanding multi-function firefighter escape belt.

The accessory Kevlar gear loops are located on both sides and aid the modular design of this belt. They add to its great versatility by allowing the incorporation of various upgrades and accessories.

The Cheyenne Escape belt is custom sized for you. Use your jeans or duty pants waist size to fit correctly. Fire Innovations already has accounted for the extra bulk of the turnout gear by adding a +4 inch allowance. This belt should be donned over the coat.

A patented Multi-Use Strap can be added, and functions as an NFPA ladder strap, a one-leg harness, and for various RIT and victim carries/drags. This strap can be neatly stowed inside a belt-mounted accessory pouch or a turnout pocket.

The Cheyenne series is constructed with double layered Kevlar® and comes standard with an attachment point for a bailout and/or connecting an NFPA ladder strap.

VERSATILITY
The Cheyenne Series belts come in custom sizes available from 28” to 52” in increments of 2” (custom sizes available by special order). They have six inches (6”) of adjustment to easily accommodate the firefighter’s turnouts. The single point forward adjustment feature lets the firefighter quickly adjust to the proper fit. This belt can be outfitted with a variety of different bailout systems and accessories for added versatility.

The Cheyenne belt accessories can be added at anytime. This keeps the cost down on the initial purchase. One only needs to buy one belt, and then add accessories as needed to meet your requirements.

This belt is sized based off your pants but 4″ is added to the belt to account for your coat. Order your pant size. The buckle is considered an inverted buckle.

The Cheyenne is ambidextrous, and it comes standard with gear loops on both sides and a fixed NFPA D-Ring (attachment/positioning point). The gear loops allow accessories to be attached, such as axe loops and accessory pouches. Some of the Cheyenne’s available options include a sliding NFPA D-Ring, a rearward NFPA positioning point/tag ring, and a Multi-Use Strap. This patented Multi-Use Strap™ adds NFPA ladder belt certification to the Cheyenne, along with an NFPA certified anchor, and numerous other RIT/RIC procedures. The Cheyenne is ready to accept a variety of non pre-rigged or pre-rigged bailout systems.
  • NFPA Escape Belt – for bailout, low angle rescue, pulling a firefighter victim out of a hole or lowering a firefighter out of a window.
  • NFPA Ladder Belt (optional)- with the use of our patented Multi-Use Strap™ this belt can be used to secure yourself to a platform, ladder or roof.
  • RIT Operations (optional)- allows one or two firefighters to carry down victims. You can perform various types of rescue drags with less energy and back strain to the rescue firefighter.
  • Designed with expansion and upgradability in mind, many accessories are available such as customized bailout systems, stainless steel ax clips, scabbards, leather backing, radio holders, rope bags and leather tool pouch.
